Whip Up Your Holidays With Starbucks’ Fall Menu

Holidays are ending sooner then we thought, but Starbucks is still here to keep us in the spirit!

StarBucks

As some of America’s favorite holidays, such as The New Year and Christmas are approaching, Starbucks finally has released their fall menu. Starting November 10, StarBuck’s cafés around America are opening up the menu and offering their traditional additions and new arrivals. According to The Hype, Starbuck’s most popular drink during the season is the Pumpkin Spice Latte. Even though the drink is a marvelous addition to the menu and a great way to bring out the fall season, it has also been available to customers around America since August of this year, and customers are ready for something new.

What a better time then ever to further the Fall Menu, but this year it will have a few new additions to Americas favorite holiday menu. A new drink, Toasted Graham Latte described as “Milk and Cookies, All Grown Up” is a toasted Graham Latte with steamed Espresso and milk,z buttery creamy latter infused with shortbread cookie sauce topped with whipped cream, shortbread cookie drizzle and butter cookie crumbles, that has made its debut this year. Stated on Starbuck’s NewsRoom, the Toasted Graham Latte is the first new fall drink since 2011. Starbucks reached out to their costumers and realized they wanted a healthy alternative to their other popular drinks. So the Toasted Graham Latte was made with only 40 grams of sugar (per 16 ounces). But if you are looking for something not so healthy, you can try the Peppermint Mocha.

The Peppermint Mocha has become a holiday classic. It contains Starbucks signature Espresso, steamed milk, sweet mocha sauce and peppermint-flavored syrup, topped with whipped cream and dark chocolate curls. A Starbucks costumer described it to me as “very seasonal and chocolatey. It’s just really good.” But not only did she tell me about the Peppermint Mocha but also its brother, Peppermint White Chocolate Mocha. It too, is only on the fall menu and is for the costumers with a sweet tooth. And if you are interested in something like this, you may also want to try the Peppermint Brownie Cake Pop.

Cake Pop’s made their debut 2012 and Starbucks was one of the first to put it out on their shelves. Their christmas cake pop, Peppermint Brownie is stated to be their most popular during the fall season and a great addition to the menu. “Wow, this is really good,” says Rebeca Summers, a sophomore at Faith Lutheran, “I wouldn’t change a thing. It has a brownie in it so this is really good.”

Other classic, holiday foods that costumers seem to enjoy are the Cranberry Bliss Bar, Gingerbread Loaf, and the Frosted Snowman Cookie. To spice some things up this fall, coming December 18 will be Starbucks new addition to the food, fall menu: The Ugly Sweater Cookie. Just like it may sound, it is a GingerBread man wearing an Ugly Sweater! Let’s not forget Starbuck’s second new addition, the Mini Snowman Doughnuts. It is a chocolate doughnut, covered in chocolate frosting, and a small white chocolate snowman on top. This donut clocks in at 170 calories with 9 grams of sugar and 150mg of Sodium! Not your healthiest treat, but if you’re feeling a little sweat this may be the donut for you.

A lot of students here at Faith Lutheran, say they don’t go for Starbuck’s food but for they drinks. Junior Aziza Poking says her favorite drink is Peppermint Mocha while others like Allie Lohman, a sophomore at Faith, says she would rather have the Caramel Brulée Latte. So it’ll be up to you to find your favorite holiday drink, but you’ll have to hurry! Starbuck’s holiday menu will be ending shortly and you’ll have to wait another year to enjoy your favorite Holiday drinks.

Happy Holidays Faith Lutheran!
