Basketball Preseason Workouts Underway


Let me guess, you want to play boys basketball but don’t know where to start? Then read on.

Basketball preseason workouts are here to help anyone who wants to improve and become a better player. Anyone interested in playing can come, shoot around and work on their game under the expertise of the coaching staff. 

The trainings are separated by class. The freshman and sophomores play together November 6 and the juniors and seniors play together November 5. The workouts last an hour and a half, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

For the girls, preseason workouts are over, but the tryouts are Saturday, Nov. 16, 7 a.m.-9 a.m. the Jr/Sr tryout; 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. the Fresh/Soph tryout.  The second day of tryouts are Monday, Nov.18 Jr/Sr 2-4 p.m. & Fresh/Soph 3:45 – 5:30 p.m.

Head coach, Bret Walter decided to do some extra workouts for those interested in getting prepared for the tryouts that take place on November 16-18. Also, if these preseason workouts are for you, head out to the arena Tuesday or Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., depending on your class, from now until tryouts
