The students at Faith Lutheran woke up to a surprise this Monday morning: a layer of snow blanketing the school grounds. As the East Coast and Midwest have below freezing temperatures and large amounts of snowfall, Las Vegas has been enjoying some particularly enjoyable February weather.

This past week, the highs were in the 70s and the lows were in the 50s.  As of this morning, so far the high and low is a whopping 37 degrees. Already, the thin but staggering layer of snow is melting. However, that is not stopping students from playing in it, by throwing snowballs at their friends or pretending to build snowmen.
