Keep Calm and Ride On

Ready, Set, Go! People all over the world ride their bikes to work, for fun, and for competitions. Students around Faith, including around the United States ride bikes to stay healthy and build muscle.

Not only students ride their bikes but so do teachers, Mr. Blank rides his bike home from school everyday.

It allows one of us to stay later at school while not driving two vehicles to the same place

The purpose of National Bike month is to encourage people to ride their bikes to work or school, for fun and fitness. May is the time of year where just about everyone enjoys the cool breeze and the warm, bright sun.

For beginners, learning how to ride a bike is pretty exhausting. “I learned to ride a bike in the first grade, my dad spent a lot of time working with me to ride my bike going down a grassy hill”, said Mrs. Blank. As we all grow older we do tend to lose interest in things like bike riding. “Unfortunately I do not ride a bike but I did learn at a young age and it was a [great] experience”, said Mr. Neagle.

Hopefully for all those parents and staff here at our extraordinary school Faith Lutheran Middle/High school can come clean with green. It’s simple! Ride a bike, any fashion, color, and style you want to cruise your way to your destination. So grab a couple of friends and start pedaling!  “I never really question why I ride, cause for me it’s basic as breathing”, said a #Truebiker.
