Women’s Varsity Soccer Win State
This weekend, the Women’s Varsity Soccer Team went to Hug High School in Reno, and brought home the Nevada State Championship. The final score of the last game was 1-0 with the Crusaders beating Coronado. With a season nearly perfect on paper (22-0-1) and the unity of the skilled teammates, Faith Lutheran was unstoppable. The Review Journal shines a spotlight on Amelia McManus, who ended the season with 29 goals and seven assists which was critical to the wins of the Crusaders. Congratulations to the women’s varsity soccer team and thank you for the great season.
