Taking the life away of a defenseless child is not an option. Abortion is an act that seems to be done without acknowledging that there is a heartbeat being stopped during the procedure. That heartbeat will never be brought back. Do people not realize or care what they are doing when they take the step to abort a baby that they had conceived?

Many women have abortions and do not realize how they will be affect them later on. There are facts that back up that woman who have an abortion in their younger years, and then have children later in life, will suffer with guilt and depression. Women experience motherly love for their new child and then understand how much they could have loved the child whose life they’ve taken away.

Women need to understand that as soon as that child is conceived, it is alive. A heartbeat is real and not something that any human should have the right to take away. Why is it okay to kill a baby in the womb, but not okay when there is a murder of a thirty-year-old man? They are both people, and both have a life. 92 percent of abortions are from a lack of preparation for the pregnancy. That baby deserves to have a life and it should not be the victim of the parents lack of emotional maturity or their carelessness of having unprotected sex.

There are so many other options for potential parents who aren’t ready to take on that role. Adoption in the U.S is so low and many baren couples want a child. Instead of aborting a child, they can be given to these couples that will give the baby the life it deserves. Most women have abortions because pregnancy and childbearing interferes with work and daily life. If this is the case, give that baby to someone who is waiting and willing to love him or her unconditionally with all the time they have.

“There are a total of 1.058 million abortions every year, 2,899 every day, 120 abortions every hour and 1 abortion every 30 seconds. That comes to a total of 56.5 million within 30 years. For every 1,000 baby’s born 220 are aborted. In the U.S alone there is an estimated 2 million families waiting to adopt. Without abortion, these family’s struggles of having a child can be fulfilled by woman willing to give the baby life.”

Abortion should no longer be a choice but adoption and life should be the option. These babies’ can be our next presidents or doctors and we are taking that away before they can even be held or talk. Abortion needs to stop and our children need to be saved. They have a heartbeat, they are alive; not a mistake made in one night.
