Friday Night Lights are back and in full swing. These Friday nights look different for everyone. Whether it is the parents cheering their kids on, the cheerleaders getting the crowd excited, the players running out of the tunnel, hearing the crowd roar, and even the coaches calling plays. Everyone is experiencing something just a little different on these cool Friday nights.
With the middle of the season approaching means one of the biggest, most anticipated games of the season, the homecoming game. For our Faith Lutheran crusaders, this year, their opponents are the Arbor View Aggies. So far for this 2025 season their record is 0-3. Our Faith Lutheran Crusaders are 3-1 as of now. Homecoming can mean all sorts of things for high school, from dress up days, pep rallies, and the homecoming dance. The football game is an additional way to come out and support your Crusaders as well as showing your school spirit.
This particular game kicks off our league games and sets forth the Crusaders’ road to the playoffs. With anticipation rising, and anxiety high, the Faith family is hopeful the Crusaders can pull off a win against the Arbor View Aggies. Special Team’s Coach Kohorst is in good spirits for this homecoming game he said, “I think this by week is good for us, giving us more time to prepare for Arbor View, gives us more time to get healthy, and have something special in store this upcoming week.”
Many players are excited to get back on the field after this past by week with no game. Defensive player and Team Captain Johnny Trumball said, “I think it’s going to be a dog fight. I mean it’s a very good team, but I feel like we’re going to lock in and show up.”
These past four games we have had some tough competition, from playing teams from Utah, Bakersfield, even to Reno the crusaders have had nothing but tough competition. Tight end player Will Haligan said, “I feel like we’ve gotten much better throughout the season and I’m excited to keep playing”.
