Mary Vancura (’18) and Lizzy Tuls (’17) block a hit from Centennial earning a Crusader point.

Coach Amy Fisher, of the Faith Lutheran Volleyball team, leads her team to victory against the Centennial Bulldogs, last night.

With the Crusaders up 2-0, they begin to fall back and appear to lose communication error in the third set to the Bulldogs. The Crusaders hoped for a 3-0 game with their strong defensive blocks by Bryanna Neagle [’17] and Dallas Mahan  [’18].

During the third and fourth set, the Bulldogs tied the game to 2-2 and made the Crusaders push for a fifth and final set. With a tight score in the final tie-breaking set, the Crusader Volleyball team pulled through and won the game.

The team plays today at Durango High School against the Durango Blazers. Next Friday September 23, Faith plays in the Arena against Cimarron Spartans at 6 pm.
