Crowned for the day

For seniors, this week is one of most exiting times of the school year. This is their last homecoming and lip sync they will ever participate in at Faith. It is also a tradition that they are allowed to wear crowns.

“Since sixth grade I have been waiting to one day wear a crown,” said Ashlyn May, senior. “The crowns sort of represent us and our journey in life up until now and the moments that make us who we are and the person we’ve become!”

They decorate them by themselves making them as unique as possible by reflecting their personality. This is the time where the seniors get to stand out and show everyone who is at the top. Also, later in the day they  sit on the gym floor and get to be the center of attention at the pep assembly.
