The competitive physical education class had quite the experience with wrong time-wrong place mentality. Coach Wilson takes the Competitive PE class on this yearly ski and snowboarding trip. “The ski trip is a trip of privilege for the competitive PE class,” said Wilson. This year things went a little awry.

On the morning of the trip, students woke up to an email that some might say was disheartening. The email said ski and snowboarding trip had been cancelled, and will be rescheduled to a later date “The reason it was cancelled because the winds down here were extremely high. It was a judgment call of mine to cancel it,” said Wilson.

“It couldn’t have come at a worst time in reference to the money that was lost, but it was actually the best time. When the trip was rescheduled it was beautiful.” But in the end it all ended up good. I think that the biggest reason why the students were in uproar was because they were forced to go to school instead of shredding it up at Lee Canyon.

Junior, Sydney Smith was clearly disappointed in the rescheduled trip; “It was definitely a let down because I was pumped to miss school and snowboard with my friends. But it was canceled for a good reason and I’m glad that we went up at a good time.”

“We all know God has a plan it all works out for our benefit,” said Wilson.

This ski trip will be rescheduled when the weather permits.
